The report outlines Modius' recent growth in customer adoption and technological sophistication. As noted in the report, "Modius is one of a number of companies that have been formed in recent years to address the growing need for better management visibility and control in the data center. The 451 Group believes this to be an important and growing software market in eco-efficient IT: If managers can see, in real or near real time, what is happening with all kinds of equipment - on both the IT (demand) and mechanical and electrical (supply) sides of the data center - they can operate more efficiently and within a tighter envelope.
