Modius is pleased to announce the release of version 3.0 of its Data Center Infrastructure Manager (DCiM™) platform, the next-generation monitoring and measurement software for improving data center efficiency while lowering operational risk. DCiM™ provides unified and continuous measurement of all data center equipment, including power, cooling, environmental and IT devices.

The latest release includes significant enhancements to the core DCiM™ intelligence and analytics engine. Modius customers are now offered a radically enhanced ability to generate actionable intelligence and optimization guidance via real-time dashboard functionality.   Allows operators to create customized metrics for diagnostic analysis and more intelligent alarms based on unique situations in the data center.
• Improved 'Virtual Devices' Calculator
  Supports a broader range of algorithmic equations to create virtual devices, including native support for all functions in the Java Math Library.
• Data Warehouse
  Provides operators rapid access to core data items without writing complicated SQL queries.
• UI improvements
  Improves the user interface for navigating through alarms and data, including flexible formatting of the granularity of point data.
• Alternate SMTP gateway
  Allows operators to set up a redundant gateway for email alerts in case the main gateway goes down, ensuring that critical alarms make it to the right person.
• Improved Scalability
  Provides improved capture and storage of data at scale beyond 100,000 points.
• Support for HP Integrity NonStop platform
  Full support for DCiM to be run natively on the highly-scalable HP Integrity platform (both for the NS series servers and the new Blade servers).
