A Closer Look at OpenData Standard Edition
In December of 2010 Modius unveiled a new OpenData product called Standard Edition, which offers unified monitoring and alarm management for critical data center infrastructure equipment at very low cost to all corporations.
Due to strong customer interest, we have now put together a Standard Edition Information Pack with the following documents:

STARLINE and Modius Form a Logical Parntership
Modius is pleased to announce a new partnership with STARLINE, a flagship product of Universal Electric Corporation. The company’s award-winning STARLINE systems are the only fully flexible products available that allow access to power anywhere. Just like Modius OpenData’s monitoring and management software, it has been designed to be easy-to-install, flexible and intuitive, meeting the changing electrical power needs of any business.
The integration between the two systems allows advanced power usage data from the STARLINE power meters to be easily captured and recorded on a continuous basis by the Modius OpenData system. The STARLINE meters at each service feed can report the data either as SNMP and/or ModBus RTU for Modius OpenData to then easily use to provide detailed power consumption statistics at varying levels, including: room-, zone-, row- or rack-level.

Modius OpenData has always been touted as the industry’s only data center solutions for BOTH Facilities and IT. Accordingly, Modius is eager to sponsor a unique conference with that same focus, Teladata’s full day conference “Where Data Center, Facilities and Technology Groups Converge.” The Technology Convergence Conference (TCC), a bi-annual event, takes place at the Santa Clara Convention Center on February 23rd.
