Modius Names Ed Sterbenc as Vice President, Corporate Sales

Modius Welcomes Sterbenc to Executive Management Team

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(September 20, 2009) – Modius, Inc., a leading provider of availability and performance monitoring software for data center management, today announced Ed Sterbenc would join the management team as VP, Corporate Sales. Mr. Sterbenc is a senior executive with proven track record of driving growth and profitability in competitive global customer markets. Sterbenc’s professional experience includes leadership roles developing and directing high impact teams, organizations, and partnerships.

Sterbenc’s most recent role was as VP-Worldwide Field Operations at Blue Vector, a software company whose Aspect Oriented Programming innovations powered massively scalable edge processing applications in arenas such as pharmaceutical ePedigree, retail distribution and cold chain tracking.

Previously, Sterbenc served as VP-Sales for the Americas at Nimsoft, where he was responsible for all revenue generating activities in the region, including lead generation, pre-sales technical support, inside and outside sales. In this role, Mr. Sterbenc led the delivery of nearly 60% of the revenue of the company as it grew from under $10M to $29M in annual sales.

Mr. Sterbenc has degrees in Industrial Management and Computer Science from Purdue University awarded with honors. A member of Mensa, he is also an accomplished musician, sailor and amateur astronomer.
